7.6.7. Additional Devices

The Ensign Bed Sensor Pad is compatible with a range of cura1 sensors and transmitters. These must be paired with a cura1 2549 Multi-Port Expander with latching which is then connected to the 2.5mm Port on the electronics module of the BSP.

If incontinence monitoring is required, an Incontinence Pad may be attached directly to the 2.5mm port in place of the 2549 Multi-Port Expander.

Alternatively if the 2549 Multi-port Expander and an Incontinence Pad is required, then a 6.5mm connection can be fitted to the Incontinence Pad which is then connected to the 2549 Multi-Port Expander in the Call Cord Socket. The Cord Removal Alarm switch on the 2549 must be turned ON.

Assist Pendants use a 3.5mm connection and have their own 3.5mm port.

Contact cura1 for more information.

Use the drop-down menu to determine which module has been attached.
