When viewing an individual area the Menu Bar at the top of the page will display the Edit Area menu item (circled). Clicking on the Edit Area menu item will display the following dialogue box:
To edit the Area identifier, click in the text box and type the new identifier of the Area. Click the Save button to save changes.
