7.7. Notification Settings

 
 
When a client's BSP activates an alarm a notification of this event can be sent to an e-mail address and/or mobile phone via SMS.
 
 
 
Type a number under each Alarm type to determine how long before a notification is sent. 0 minutes will instantly send notifications. The maximum delay possible is 60 minutes.
 
Note 1: "Life Signs Critical" is an Alarm that will sound if weight is detected on the bed but no Heart Rate and Respiratory Rate.
 
Note 2: Enabling "Off-Line / ON-Line" will send a notification every time the BSP is offline and when it returns online.
 
 
 
Clicking "Add" will display the following dialogue box.
 
 
 
 
Enter the e-mail address, title and name(s).
 
Click the "Test" button to ensure the address has been entered correctly. A confirmation message will display once clicked.
 
 
 
The following e-mail should be sent to the entered address.
 
 
 
 
Click "Save" when finished.
 
 
 
 
For mobile phone SMS notifications it is required to have a Twilio account. Refer to 10.4 Integration Settings for further configuration.
 
Enter the mobile phone number, title and name(s).
 
Click the "Test" button to ensure the phone number has been entered correctly. A confirmation message will display once clicked.
 
 
 
The following SMS should send.
 
 
 
 
Click "Save" when finished.
 
 
 
 
 
Use the toggle switches to determine which alarm notifications will send to which device.
 
Click on a row's red "Delete" button to remove an e-mail address or phone number that no longer needs to receive notifications.
 
Click "Save" when finished.
 
Note: The "AUX Devices" column will take on the name of any device or function selected in Additional Devices. e.g. "Wellness Check" or "Call". Notifications sent will reflect this name as well.
